Razzle magazine was a long running British pin up magazine (1930s to 1950s). Early issues like these had no photographic pin-up, only some classsic "good girl" art style cartoons and some political cartoons (particularly wartime issues). Razzle started life as a pretty regular sized magazine, but shrank in size over the years. It is probably best remembered for a small sized 1950s magazine that featured a very nice colour art centrefold. These early issues have no centrefold (I do not think they had one this early). The smaller 1950s issues of this magazine turn up on a regular basis, but these very early issues are rarely seen today. The larger format issues of Razzle are always very difficult to find.
Razzle was published by Ritz Publishing (1935) Ltd. The original Ritz Publishing Ltd was wound up in March 1935, so some of these early 1935 issues are the earlies published issues from Ritz Publishing (1935) Ltd. There may even be a first issue here, but I have not been able to find out exactly when this magazine was published.
All issues have some degree of rusting around the staples and most are missing their staples but are still complete and tight. Very few of these magazines are dated, so estimates have been taken from other magazine data , adverts etc.
